FIRST-AID AT WORK (FAW)

This course is ideal for designated first aiders in smaller, low-risk workplaces, such as smaller offices and similar settings. This training in emergency first aid covers fundamental first aid procedures for 'adult' casualties. This course is free of charge for any security-related courses that require first aid as a prerequisite. This training teaches fundamental life-saving first aid skills and occupational health and safety laws.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a fundamental understanding of the English language. Our capacity to provide additional support to people who don’t have English as their first language is constrained by the amount of time available and the number of people who need our assistance. Please contact us in advance if you believe we will need to make special arrangements.
Candidates must be 14 years or older to participate on this course.
To qualify, candidates must complete both the theoretical online portions and the practical in-person sessions.

This online course has been designed by experienced paramedics to provide you with a quick reference guide to first aid at the workplace.

All included materials strictly adhere to British and European Resuscitation and First Aid Guidelines.
